Apocalypse means to remove the veil. The Greek word “apo” means remove and “calypsos” means veil.
To REMOVE the VEIL
Apocalypse does not mean violence or judge or end times. Having said that we now understand that when God who is Spirit, removes the veil, then our flesh is destroyed.
The power of the Spirit is like an atomic bomb and our flesh is like the metal casing for the bomb. When the bomb is revealed, it is an apocalypse, and the veil is vaporized.
It’s a problem for God to reveal Himself to us because we inevitably die. Unglorified bodies cannot stand in the presence of God.
Much of our theology and philosophy is about trying to describe SPIRIT in human logic and to comfort the disobedience and the half-saved.
Humans and humanists have always demanded that God be dethroned, and the Gospel dumbed down for our convenience and control.
The Lord who made the heavens and the earth simply has no, plan, desire, intention, or ability to accommodate such carnality.
He will do apocalypse and the flesh will go up in smoke.
When you see and comprehend that the Cross of Jesus, is your own death, then you will realize that even in Golgotha the Spiritual nature of God simply destroys the flesh.
Then you begin to grow in the Spirit again.
