Temptation arises concerning Good and Perfect Gifts.
Beautiful women and sexual temptation is a good example. God made the women as beautiful and desirable as they are. Desire is not sin but clearly can lead to sin and death quickly.
We need to grow up into Christ by the Spirit and endure temptation, but the good and perfect gifts remain.
Sex, Power and Food
27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.
” (Genesis 1:27–29, NKJV)
God made man in the beginning and gave him sex, power and food (provision). In salvation we are spiritually new and transformed into Christ and thus have the eternal spiritual perspective on these things again and can enjoy those things freely given to us, without lust and greed and destruction to others.
Every Good and Perfect Gift
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.13. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone.14. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.15. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.16. Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren.17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.18. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.
