This is a very useful thought.
Essentially the message of the kingdom of God is above our paygrade. Those Bible teachers who see to explain and make things easy to understand regrettably do not themselves understand God or the Kingdom of God.
Entry into the Kingdom of God, and the entry of the Kingdom of God into us is NOT easy and it is NOT obvious.
It is clear that for God everything is personal since He has put enough of Himself in us to make us conscious and responsible before His Law, yet the natural man is clueless as the real purposes and intent of God. We are for all practical intents as dumb moss on a rock.
The intellectual and emotional and certainly the spiritual gap between fallen man and God is bigger than the gap between man and rock moss. We’re not very clever and don’t understand what God is doing and Who He is. People want love and blessing and even a sense of purpose but we cannot actually begin to fathom how these things come into being or what complex divine order created and sustains them.
Christians like to sing songs about how big and awesome God is, but the reality is bigger and more awesome than our flesh brains can comprehend.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. ” (1 Corinthians 2:14, NKJV)
Three Dimensional Being Easily rule over Two Dimensional ones
Just like the godlike powers a three-dimensional being would have over a two-dimensional creature so the gap between us and a being who accesses and lives and moves in four, five, or probably seven dimensions is totally flabbergasting.
Yet God has put in us enough to make salvation possible, on His terms. Not ours!
