The problem is that as much as we need and benefit from doctrine and theology, they are transient. God’s Law, His Word, does not change, just like the laws of physics do not change, but technology does change all the time.
Theology is analogous to technology, we cannot assume that our current version is full, final, or perfect.
Doctrine is always a human opinion and human interpretation and thus incomplete imperfect and often plain wrong.
God is SPIRIT and that means the human brain does not fully know or understand God.
We need to remain humble teachable and keep on growing.
When you encounter a portion of scripture, you must keep your doctrine, your revelation, your understanding, and your confession before you, and yet you must be know and believe there is more.
There is always a higher and deeper truth that you must aspire to comprehend. This truth will come out of the scriptures and by the Holy Spirit. This continuing process of comprehending more of God will always amount to having more FAITH.
see. Faith is not IF you Believe but WHAT you Believe
Keep on being saved by the transforming of your mind and renewing of the Spirit of your mind.
Amen!
14 But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.
” (1 Corinthians 2:14–16, NKJV)
23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
” (Ephesians 4:23–24, NKJV)
