The church is malfunctioning due to two categories of serious strategic deception.
The categories are related to the Cross and the Church.
THE CROSS OF CHRIST and the CHURCH SYSTEMS.
The Cross & the Spirit
The biggest problem is that few pastors, and as a result few Christians, really understand that the Cross of Jesus included us in death.
We were baptized into Jesus death and now by faith the resurrection life is growing in us. This LIFE is free from sin and is in nature the very life Jesus.
This is supernatural, or to use Biblical terminology this is SPIRIT.
The only things that are acceptable to God the Father are those things which are by Christ Resurrected in us. Everything we try to do for God outside of crucifixion and resurrection is “religion”.
Religion vs Faith
Good works like evangelism, fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace and every other good things flows out of resurrection life. Trying for fake these things outside of the Cross & the Spirit is dead religion. It is dead Adam trying to keep Gods’ spiritual law by his own Adamic efforts.
Much of Christianity we know today is religion, not SPIRIT.
Religion is defined as efforts to try and fix Adam without the crucifixion. Religion is trying to do good things without a FAITH revelation by the SPIRIT of your ACCOMPLISHED death in Christ. Only resurrection is acceptable to God and that resurrection is only possible after crucifixion.
This may sound like detail to the religious mind, but it is in fact a strategic deception that sends millions of well-meaning Christians on an Adamic religious quest. This includes missions, tithing, singing songs and many other things. Doing good things without the supernatural dynamics of the “Life which is in Christ Jesus” (Zoe) is religion and not salvation.
Zoe (the Spirit Life of God) must be worked inside of your human spirit by God’s resurrection Spirit. Nothing we can do outside this Zoe is acceptable to God.
Faith is simply when we begin to SEE and UNDERSTAND that the Cross & the Spirit are working Zoe inside the human spirit. Good works of FAITH, then start flowing out into the soul and body automatically.

The Church
Salvation that comes form the Cross & the Spirit is the “New Wine” that Jesus said must be put into New “Wineskins”.
As soon we understand salvation to be a work of the Cross & the Spirit supernaturally inside of us we begin to realize that our typical church meetings, liturgy, and structure are not very spiritual, and not conducive to this Zoe Life and ministry of the Spirit. Its a lot like Bonsai farming. The small pot and the excessive pruning reduces growth
Most of what we know as “local church” is regrettably a pseudo spiritual community, with very little of the powerful salvation and SPIRIT that we see in Acts. The sweetness and good intentions of the pastor and the Christian’s there does not solve the problem.
If we don’t comprehend death in Christ and resurrection life blossoming supernaturally inside of us, then church remains an Adamic experience. It appears Christian and religious and even sweet and kind, but it is not SPIRIT.
“Local Church” in the Adamic sense, is often be little more than a “Babylonian Synagogue” trying to help un-crucified Adam to please God with various religious incantations such as, tithing, singing songs, listening to sermons, pseudo-spiritual psychobabble and then some form of “evangelism”.
Ministry by the Spirit
The church must return to the SPIRIT model of salvation and of church life. This will inevitably be a process.
All of us are of course imperfect and see only in part, but that is not an insurmountable problem.
Fundamental to God’s model for salvation life, and church, is that all members are mobilized to minister, and to comprehend Christ, and minister powerfully by the Spirit, thereby graciously limiting the mistakes of leaders. It is critical however to engage in the priesthood of all believers and plurality of leadership and ministry by all members in the Spirit (as opposed to ministry by professionals).
Seeing how far the gospel and the church has drifted from the Biblical model and the SPIRIT, is a bit un-nerving, and scary. Have we really been hoodwinked that much?
The eternal upward call of Christ draws us out of and over our fears and comfort-zone into the Spirit.
Please join us as we overcome this fear and upset and grow into seeing more clearly the life of the Spirit.

There is great grace for us all. The biblical plan and model has not changed and the Spirit still yearns for us jealously.
Draw near by Faith!
let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.23. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.24. And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works,25. not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
