Jesus death on the Cross must be you’re and my death, by faith.

If we are not dead to sin to Adam and to self in that cross then we are on our way to the second death (hell).

The purpose of Christ is to take you and me to the cross. Adam and all his descendant are unable to achieve God’s Spiritual standard and by default are spiritually dead and will also die physically.  Spiritually speaking it is a terminal disease called sin.

Death is already in process and the end is guaranteed. However because of Christ’s All Inclusive death on the cross there is now a choice available: You die with Christ on the cross or you die alone in hell.

The All-Inclusive Death

The wonder of Christ’s death on the Cross is that by FAITH and BAPTISM we can we become partakers of this death and also of the resurrection.

After we have died in Christ resurrection life kicks in by the Spirit.

3. Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?4. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.5. For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection,6. knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin.7. For he who has died has been freed from sin.
Romans 6:3-7

The Life-Giving Spirit

45. And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.46. However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual.
1 Corinthians 15:45-46

This is the “Good News”.

PS: its only Good News who love and obey Christ.

14. For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;15. and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15

Romans 8 describes resurrection in the Spirit that follows Crucifixion

1. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.2. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.3. For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh,4. that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.5. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.6. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
